Hi Guys, I am sitting here listening to Christmas Waltz. I really love this song. It has such a warm, come hither feel to this song. It's a short song but filled with all the essential ingrediants that make this song Karen's all.

::)I agree it's an uplifting pretty song. I love watching the video on the road.ode site where Karen and Richard I think are singing and dancing to that as they are dressed in the Dickens style of dress. I've had that song stuck in my head too! I'm sure it's a perfect song for those who can also ice skate...that would be a good one for them to skate to. And that reminds me...off course here...but one of my favorite movies is also "Ice Castles" with Robby Benson and I don't know that girl...and Tom Skerrit.

I believe Holly Johnson is the girl who was in Ice Castles. I never thought of it before, but I agree that the song would fit nicely in the movie. I saw it a week or so back on cable.

This is the most special Carpenters Christmas song and I will tell you why...
Christmas Waltz is the song that I first noticed Karen's VOICE at age 14 and I was so amazed at the rich, low, beautiful voice, I had to ask my mother who was singing that song. And this was coming from a 14 yr old who had no interest in who sang what songs.
This song was my first "listen" to Karen ever. It started everything for me.
