My wife, 5 year old son, and I went to see "The Polar Express" this weekend. What a wonderful movie to put you in the Christmas mood. We all enjoyed it and were ready to start decorating the tree. The computer animation was very different from the Pixar/Disney product that I am familiar with, but it was very good. I understand this movie is from a children's book, and it looks just like that; an animated children's story book. We will probably see it again after Thanksgiving.

@@ hi Moe...I've been seeing it advertised, and well, one can seldom do wrong with T. Hanks....I can tell that it's so life-like...I hope mom and I can get to it. she's not much for the animated thing...although she loved Finding Nemo...and she likes Tom Hanks...so, it looks to be a superb and fun show...thanks for the input...

I know friends of mine have expressed interest in seeing this movie so I think we're all going to have a adult fun day over the Christmas holiday and see it. I loved both Toy Story I and II with Tom's voice as Woody. It was great so I'm sure to love this one too.

?* I forgot about Toy Story...what fun those were!..(are)! I think it would be fun to be able to try to be a voice of a character in an animated show...

Polar Express opens in UK ....10/12/04...is this as good as previous animation films ?....hype centers on reputed $200 million costs .... Read that Express fared poorly against The Incredibles ....that is a film to look forward to ....opening in UK this weekend Peter
