Today, I was punching radio buttons while driving home. I stopped on a station that was talking about their sister station that is already playing Chrismtas music, 24/7. I found the station and programmed it to my radio dial. The next song that was played was the 1970 version of Merry Christmas, Darling. I am off to a good Christmas season!

## ???Hi Moe, that's great I haven't heard any Christmas music on the radio yet - but I know it's just right around the corner. I've already got my Carpenters "Christmas Collection" disc ready for play. I almost played it this morning but opted to listen to "A Kind Of Hush" and "Horizon".

This same radio station sent an advertisement in the mail today. I am sure it went all over North Texas, but I found it funny I would receive it a week after I found out they are already playing Christmas music. They listed their top 50 Christmas requests and "Merry Christmas Darling" came in at no. 7!

&^ That's great! I once mentioned the site road.ode, and some folks had negative stuff to say about it.., but I'll mention to you, and maybe you can check it out. some computers aren't able to get these clips...anyway, there are 12 new Christmas clips on the road.ode site. Most are of Karen and Richard...it shows the 1978 show with Karen singing Merry Christmas Darling...my very favorite sung by her! So, you might (or not) want to check it out. Really got me in the spirit of things!
