Please tell me I am not imagining this, but I am certain that years ago I heard Karen Carpenter sing a rather lively song called "All I Do Is Dream Of You" - the melody is burned into my memory, but I can't seem to find any reference to it in the discographies I have read. Could somebody please help me?

I know Karen sang a song...ALL I CAN DO IS CRY OVER YOU EVER SINCE YOU'VE GONE AWAY...which is ALL I CAN DO.
That's the only one I can think of...
She also did I JUST FALL IN LOVE AGAIN with reference to dreaming...DREAMING, I MUST BE DREAMING OR AM I REALLY LYING HERE WITH YOU...
I CAN DREAM CAN'T I? is another Carpenters song...

Thank you, cam83, but I am afraid that is not the song I am looking for. If only I could put down the sequence of notes, and somebody out there could hum the tune and recognize it.
I do know that Karen Carpenter sang a song with a name similar to this; her silky contralto was unmistakable.
Frankly, were certain songs released in certain areas, without a similar saturation in others? I am from the East Coast, and the people in the Middle West where I now live will draw a blank when I mention a song that was popular at the time; however, if I meet a fellow Easterner, there is an instant recognition.
Could this song have been released in my part of the country without the same coverage elsewhere? (Maybe it was the "B" side of a record?)

I know there is a beautiful song called DREAMING OF YOU sung by slain Tejano singer SELENA...she has a very crystall clear voice.
