Hi,
I have visited this site a few times now, and starting today I am a new member. My spelling can be wrong sometimes but that's because I don't have to write in engish very often. Just be patient and you'll see that it will getter beter in time. It should, because I grew up in Canada. I lived there for almost 8 years. Maybe it is because of these roots that I love to hear Karen and Richard Carpenter.
I hope we all can help in keeping the spirit of Karen alive. I have already done this because both my daughters are Carpenter fans, and they are 25 and 17 years old.

Hi Trudie, A big welcome to you! I am Canadian, and have lived here for 32 years. What are your favorite Carpenters songs? What do you remember about Karen Carpenter? What are your favorite albums? Glad to have you here! Cam

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the warm welcome. It's very difficult to make a choice witch album I like the most. The song I don't like to hear is Solitaire. It makes me so sad. It is the only song that doesn't give me goosebumps. But I love to see the video "The Karen Carpenter Story" that I have. I'm trying to put in on DVD so I can see this any time.

Hello Trudie, welcome to the forum. Please feel free to express yourself here. If you misspell a word that's all right we're pretty good at figuring things out on this forum. Here's a bit of trivia the Carpenters' biggest selling single in Holland was in 1974 with "Jambalaya". ?*
