Hi Jorge,
How are you? What are your favorite Carpenters songs and albums and why? What other stuff do you listen to?

Hi Cameron:
Now I'm JohnnyAngel in the forum.
I love the Carpenters since always you know, I love all the Carpenters' albums but my special one is Now & Then, because this was the very first I ever heard of them. I love the cover of the record and the inner-sleeve is fantastic too. This is the first album produced by Richard & Karen Carpenter, and Karen played the drums in all the tracks, except Jambalaya (Hal Blaine).
Thanks!
Regards

Hi Johnny Angel, I have always liked the NOW AND THEN album. I remember when I first bought it at the Zellers store, in Winnipeg, Manitoba where I was from. I was looking in a discount bin and saw it. I remember it must have cost me about 5 dollars then, and so I bought it and took it home and I absolutely loved it. I specially loved the songs JOHNNY ANGEL...that four part harmony she does is heavenly...and I loved the low note on THE END OF THE WORLD. I also loved the dj connecting those songs. And my fave song was I CAN'T MAKE MUSIC from that album. Also YESTERDAY ONCE MORE and SING, another pair of million sellers on that lp.
My thoughts, Cameron
