Hi everybody !!! I notice a kind of hush in this website, and I think it's due to the several removals Rick Henry has made to his page. For me was difficult to find again this page. Has somebody heard any spanish version of Carpenters themes? I know several spanish versions and I invite to every hispanic Carpenters fan to try of hear them. 1. Canta, performed by Carpenters (of course, first of all !!). 2. Adiós Al Amor, performed by Lissette Alvarez (Puerto Rico). 3. La Cima del Mundo, performed by Los Tigrillos (Venezuela, from a childlike tv show). 4. Otra vez El Ayer, performed by Silvana Di Lorenzo (Italia) 5. Hiriéndonos Mutuamente, performed by Manuela(España). 6.Superestrella, performed by Vicki Carr (Méjico).

[shadow=teal,left,300] 8-)Hi Frderico, I thank you for continuing with this forum. I just was not happy with the many limitations of the first two forums so it took some trial and error for me to find this forum. But I will stick with this one. If you have a hard time finding this forum you can always access it from any page on The Carpenters Online website which is at www.carponline.bravepages.comAnd if you or anybody else has any suggestions on how to better this forum or the website please contact me at: carponline@mail2pop.comThanks again, Rick Henry. p.s. Speaking of spanish versions of Carpenters songs I wonder if Selena ever recorded any. Or possibly Jose Feliciano. I really love the Carpenters' Canta / Sing. I also really like the Japanese version on Live In Japan. I've heard Vicki Carr's "Superstrella" - she does a good version of the song. Maybe the next tribute album should be Spanish versions of Carpenters songs - that might be interesting.[/shadow]
