I found that some Carpenters' discs are available in the libraries of Hong Kong. I borrowed one. I think it is a bootleg. It is called "The very best of the Carpenters Live in Concert".It is produced by Pal music Australia. There are 14 live performances on the disc. 1 Close to you (They long to be) 2 Medley: Yesterday once more/Jambalaya (on the Bayou) 3 Goodbye to love 4 Superstar 5 Rainy days and Mondays 6Medley: Help/Ticket to ride/Only yesterday/I won't last a day without you/Hurting each other 7 Top of the world 8 There's a kind of hush 9 We've only just begun 10 Medley: Little Honda/Runaway/Book of love/Da doo ron ron/Leader of the pack/Johnny Angel/Daddy's home 11 Mr Guder 12 Medley: Piano picker/Strike up the band/S'wonderful/Fascinatin' rhythm 13 Sometimes 14 Warsaw concerto. The sound quality is good. I am just wondering when were the songs recording. Anyway, it's so great to listen to live performances.

There are no liner notes. The cover is a picture of Richard and Karen. Also, the words "never been featured in any albums before" is on the cover.

This is so interesting. I've heard own both "Live In Japan" and "Live At The Palladium" and enjoy both immensly. Although I have always hoped for yet one more live release. maybe this one will make it to the states some day.

*********** *********** **************************************** This disk could be a bootleg of any shows The Carpenters did in 1976..., I have 4 shows(CDs and videos) from that year..., in fact, I stopped to buy bootlegs(or any other items) of The Carpenters(on internet auctions and collectors conventions) since about 3 years..., I just had to put more money into my recording studio..., but, one day, I'll start buyin' again...
..., oh, the temptation is still there, but, these days, I'm satisfied just talking about them. [glow=red,2,300][/glow][shadow=red,left,300] [/shadow][shadow=red,left,300]Roland Chayer[/shadow][shadow=red,left,300] [/shadow]
